My policies help my customers and me know what to expect. I am open to questions and suggestions you may have to help improve your customer experience. -Tony

Please read the following scheduling policy statements. Feel free to ask me any questions that you have by way of an email at "tuningbytony@gmail.com". You indicate that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policies when you submit your appointment request.

**********

Policy Note 1: Minimum $100 Service Call Fee. This amount may be credited toward the cost of tuning or repair at the time of the current service call. On occasion, an initial inspection of a piano discovers that a sustainable tuning is not achievable without a needed repair or any service cost exceeds the value of the piano. In that event, a $100 service call fee will be assessed. As is provided to all customers, a written condition/estimate report will be sent to the piano owner within four days. This way the piano owner can decide what they would like to schedule to have done, if anything.

**********

Policy Note 2: Payment is Due at the Time of the Completed Service Appointment. Payment for residential piano services rendered is due at the time of the service completion appointment. Payment by check, with cash, or through most major credits card services is accepted. You will have the option of paying online upon receiving your invoice for services rendered.

**********

Policy Note 3: All Service Fees are Calculated Per Industry Standards and Proposed in Advance for Customer Approval. The National Piano Technicians Guild publishes a standardized fee schedule for all possible piano repairs. All written service and repair estimates provided by Tony Rodriguez are consistent with these published industry standards.

Policy Note 4: Possible Travel Surcharge Pianos located beyond the Greater Grand Rapids area may be subject to a travel surcharge. This is needed to help offset additional travel expenses. This cost is calculated on a per-mile basis. Examples of surcharges according to communities can be found within the website, www.tuningbytony.com,, under the tab “Pricing” .

**********

Policy Note 5: Tuning an Old Style, Air-Driven Player Piano, a $75 Surcharge. Although Tony Rodriguez does not service piano player mechanisms, he does service the acoustical parts of the piano. There is a $75 surcharge because removing the player mechanism to tune the piano and reinstalling it is additional work.
